I’m learning to love, to take a deep breath and let go, to trust with the most reserved parts of my heart. It scares me the things I hear myself say. Letting go of control that once fooled me into feeling safe is just what held me back from truly feeling.
In return, I’m learning to enjoy moments more fully, to practice being present, to allow my eyes to speak the words my heart wants to whisper.
Leaning in deeper then ever, I feel as if I might fall headfirst into love. As I fall, it’s sink or swim into a pool of emotions and feelings and all the sweeping currents that come with love.
As I learn to love, it begins with me and then the overflow spills out all over you.
